Each spoonful of this no-churnApple Pie Ice Cream tastes like the best apple pie melting on your tongue. The flavors are a beautiful medley of apple, maple, brown sugar, cinnamon and graham. It’s everything you love about apple pie a la mode but as one delicious autumn treat! This easy homemade ice cream only takes a few minutes to mix up (minus freezing time) and no machine is needed! If that wasn't enough, it’s gluten free, nut free and egg free!!!
In a medium bowl, combine the 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk, the 3 tablespoons applesauce, the 2 teaspoons maple syrup, the 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar and the ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon. Whisk all together to combine. Set aside.
In a separate large bowl, using a whisk or hand mixer, mix the 2 cups heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Once the soft peaks form, pour in the other wet ingredients. Whisk or beat again until stiff peaks form. As soon as you see a stiff peak, stop whisking. You don't want to over mix.
Pour the ice cream into a 9 x 5 loaf pan or ice cream container with a lid. Using your hands, break up the gluten free graham cracker and sprinkle on top of the ice cream. Sprinkle additional dark brown sugar on top. If using a loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap, then aluminum foil.
Freeze the ice cream overnight and enjoy!
