Homemade Wow Butter Cups are a delicious allergy friendly candy! They’re gluten free, nut free and can easily be vegan by using a non dairy chocolate!

Finding chocolate candy that’s safe for both my kids has been a big challenge. Some are gluten free but not nut safe and others are nut free but made in a facility that process wheat.

So what’s a girl to do? Make my own!

    What is Wow Butter??

Wow butter is an amazing nut free butter that has that peanut butter flavor without any dangers. It’s completely nut free and gluten free; it’s made with soy.

If soy is not something you want to consume or if there is a soy allergy at your house, you can use any nut butter of your liking or sun butter.

I am lucky enough to have this product in my local grocery store, but you can also buy it on amazon.

How to make Wow butter Cups

Here are the step by step instructions to make these cups!

    Step 1: Line the Tin

Prepare a mini cupcake tin with liners (about 6-8 liners).

Step 2: Microwave the chocolate chips

Place the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 15 seconds then stir. Repeat this until the chocolate has completely melted.

Step 3: Mix the Other Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the wow butter and the powdered sugar. Mix till combined.

I even microwaved this combo for 10 seconds or so to get it a little easier to work with.

    Make the Layers

Step 4: Make the Chocolate Bottom

Spread about a tablespoon of chocolate on the bottom of each cupcake liner.

Step 5: Place Wow Butter Layer

Next, add about a tablespoon of the wow butter mixture on top of the chocolate.

    Step 6: Cover with Chocolate

Cover the wow butter with more melted chocolate and smooth out the top.

    Step 7: Refrigerate

Refrigerate for at least and hour or until chocolate has hardened and you’re done!

Making Homemade Wow Butter Cups has never been more simple. Gluten free, nut free and vegan; it’s a wonderful allergy friendly candy but you’d never know it!
