Ingredient Notes

- Sweetened Condensed Milk- It helps the ice cream to be thick, creamy and sweet.
- Pure Vanilla Extract- Make sure the vanilla you use is pure and gf or the ice cream will have a chemical flavor.
- Wow Butter- For those of you that don’t know, Wow Butter is a nut free butter spread that is made in a gluten free, tree nut free, peanut free, egg free and dairy free facility (it's vegan). It also contains no seeds and is made of soy. It is perfect for my household since my kids have issues with all those items aside from dairy (finally) and soy. I am lucky enough to have this product in my local grocery store, but you can also buy Wow Butter on amazon.
- Light Brown Sugar: The brown sugar has a subtle molasses taste which truly makes this ice cream pop.

Substitutions and Variations
How to Make this into Vegan Ice Cream
- Make sure the brand of sugar you use is vegan.
- Use a dairy-free heavy whipping cream.
- Only use vegan sweetened condensed milk that's also gluten free.

How to Make Peanut Free "Peanut Butter" Ice Cream
Here are the step by step instructions to make this no-churn ice cream!

Step 1: Mix all the Ingredients Minus the Heavy Cream
In a large bowl, whisk the sweetened condensed milk, wow butter, light brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Switch to a spatula when the mixture gets too thick. Set aside.

Step 2: Whip the Heavy Cream
In a separate large bowl, using a whisk or a hand mixer, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Step 3: Pour in the Condensed Milk Mixture
Once soft peaks form, pour the sweetened condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream.

Step 4: Freeze
Pour the ice cream into a 9 x 5 loaf pan or freezer safe ice cream container. Smooth the top of the ice cream with the back of a spoon. Cover and freeze overnight.
Expert Tips
- Let it Freeze Overnight- No churn ice cream is simple to make but very soft. It really does need to freeze overnight otherwise it will be a soupy mess within a minute of taking it out of the freezer.

Yrs. This is not sponsored but the brand silk makes one. It says it’s gluten free but I don’t see a certified label, so I would look into that if you have celiac.
As for allergens, it does contain coconut, sunflower and faba bean protein, last time I checked the label. Always double check ingredients.
Store the ice cream in a 9 x 5 loaf pan or in an airtight ice cream container.
If using a loaf pan, cover the top with plastic wrap and then aluminum foil. Freeze for up to two weeks.

Peanut Free "Peanut Butter" Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- ¾ cup wow butter or another nut free butter spread
- ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons light brown sugar , packed
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk, ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract, 1 pinch kosher salt and the ¾ cup wow butter. Whisk until combined. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, using a whisk or a hand mixer, mix the 2 cups heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Once soft peaks form, pour the sweetened condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream.Whisk everything together until stiff peaks form. Stop immediately when you see a stiff peak. Do not over whisk.
- Pour the ice cream into a 9 x 5 loaf pan or freezer safe ice cream container. Smooth the top of the ice cream with a butter knife or the back of a spoon.
- If using a loaf pan, cover the pan in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. You can also use an airtight freezer safe ice cream container. Enjoy!
