Reasons To Love This Halloween Idea
- Allergy Friendly- These cookies are gluten free, nut free, egg free and can easily be dairy free (vegan)!
- Two Ingredients- This snack has chocolate sandwich cookies and white chocolate!
- Easy to Make- Only requires 10 minutes to make!
Ingredient Notes
- Chocolate Sandwich Cookies: You can use whatever gluten free chocolate sandwich cookies you desire, including gluten free Oreos. I love to use Kinnikinnick's KinniToo's. They're gluten free, nut free and vegan. They do have eggs in the facility though, if there are serious allergies in your family. Always read the labels.
- White Chocolate Chips- The brand I use is gluten free and is also made in a nut free facility. You can also use vegan. The brand Enjoy Life makes some.
See my recipe card below for a complete list of the ingredients with measurements.

How to make Spiderweb Cookies
Here are the step by step instructions to make this spooky snack!
Step 1: Melt The White Chocolate
Place ½ cup of white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
Heat in 10 second increments, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Step 2: Lay Out the Cookies
Lay out your cookies on a piece of wax paper so your counter doesn't become a mess.
Step 3: Drizzle the Chocolate
Using a spoon, drizzle the melted white chocolate all over the cookies. Move your hand back and forth, up and down to create a web like appearance.
Step 4: Let Dry
Let the cookies dry on the wax paper for a few minutes until the white chocolate hardens.
Expert Baking Tips
- Use Wax Paper- Place your cookies down on the wax paper prior to drizzling the white chocolate. It can get very messy; Jackson Pollockesque.
- Melt The White Chocolate Slowly- Make sure to melt the white chocolate chips in a heat safe bowl in the microwave in 10 second increments, stirring after each time. I know it takes way longer this way but if you put the chips in for 30 seconds, the chocolate will seize up and not be a liquid.
